Golden Bridge Collective is a 6 month living together experiment working with the tools of Possibility Management. We are based in Golden Bay, NZ.

  • WHY WE ARE HERE

The purpose of this 6 month experiment is to grow up into Adulthood Phase 1, discover what the bridge to archiarchal childraising looks like, eat wilder and document and share our gold with you here so that you may be inspired.

    ANNIKA KORSTEN

Possibility Coach | Rage Club Trainer & Spaceholder | Feelings Doula | Village Weaver | Forager

I am part of the collective because I am creating next culture archiachal woman- and parenthood.

I research the questions 'How can I show up in my adult to bring forth initimacy and love with women, men, children & nature?'.

I take a stand for the majority of our food being grown locally, hunted & gathered.

I am currently the spaceholder for the project as well as the Food, Visitor, Spaces, and Documentation Nodes.

    ADRIAN WIEWIORA

High-Level-Fun Explorer | Intimacy Journeyer | Movement Lover

Following my curiosity leads me to places of transformation - and once I'm there I jump in
both feet first. Despite - or perhaps precisely because of - my knack for rapid
learning I take a stand for creating Spaces of integration where beings can
meet and intimacy can unfold. I do that by bringing the magic of music into
this house, through initiating conscious movement sessions and by listening
    from my heart.

I am the livingcalendar of the collective, hold space for the codex creation and take part in
most of the nodes, drawing mind maps and organizing information.

    HANNAH ABOUZAHRAH

Mother | Possibilitator | Yin Yoga Facilitator

I am here to explore what the bridge to archiarchal childraising looks like, where children are raised by the village, as well as questions like 'what is a team?', and 'how can I navigate problem ownership within it?'

I am also here to move through my own blocks to create what I want and grow up into initiated adulthood.

I hold space for the Evelyn node of which we are all part and I am part of the food, well-being, transformation and outreach nodes.

  • HOW DID WE GET HERE?

    It started with a seed

A seed of an idea about living as a village where the children were raised and the people lived and worked together.

A pilot project was born at Tui community when Annika moved into the sleepout behind Evelyn, Hannah & Elliot as an experiment to see what living closer together looked like. Already there was more connection, collaboration with Evelyn and cooking and eating together.

The seed took further root after Annika decided to leave Tui Community. This decision was closely followed by Hannah and Elliot who decided to combine forces with Annika to form a 3-cell and start meeting to talk about how we might live together elsewhere.

Sanne’s curiosity was piqued and she asked to join the group. At first it was a no because of fear to expand and become more complex too quickly. After another meeting, and another enquiry from Sanne (persistence can pay off), a yes was found and the 3-cell became a 4-cell.

Most of us in the 4-cell then had the impulse separately to invite a fifth member who was looking for somewhere to live and had just completed the kaimahi program at Tui. Adrian joined the group, fresh into Possibility Management and with an eagerness to attend his first Expand the Box training at the beginning of May.

We started meeting regularly and writing a codex, sometimes dining together too. The day after we put an advertisement out for accommodation, we received a response and organised a visit. All of us had a yes for the space, one of us without even seeing it.

We came together again and asked ourselves if we were crazy to jump into this so quickly without a full codex or clear purpose for the space. Energetically we all had a YES to this project and we decided to go for it and gave a yes to the first property we visited in Pōhara. A bit of a clean slate without much maintenance; perfect for focusing on the project and relating amongst ourselves.

    Living off the land

We eat 80% of our diet off the land. This means hunted or sustainably raised meat, loacal, organic vegetables, natural fats, eggs, nuts, foraged greens, fruit, mushrooms, etc..

We make our own butter and soft cheeses, bake bread, and ferment.

If you are inspired to live closer to the land Annika is availbale for 1:1 coaching, practical skills workshops or tailored experiences.
